Although Travis Kelce is reportedly throwing Taylor Swift a birthday party, the Eras Tour celebrated its 34th earlier this week with a low-key dinner in NYC.
Swift was spotted with her longtime (and fresh off the market!) bestie Selena Gomez on Tuesday. The two arrived at NYC’s most desirable nightclub, Zero Bond, along with Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry.
It’s no surprise that Tay started her birthday week with a visit to the bustling Noho area. He is known to frequent the private club, which is 20,000 feet on two floors, and has become a favorite of celebrities with huge expenses (the initiation fee and annual membership fees can total anywhere between $2,700 and $5,000 alone).
While Swift returned from a weekend in Kansas City just in time for Time Magazine’s Person of the Year gala (where he was celebrated by the store), the singer was absent from the Plaza Hotel soiree for his evening with friends. Although Kelce did not participate in the tour, it is reported that he is planning something more for the coming days.
According to US Weekly, the Chiefs tight end spared no expense to throw his pop star girlfriend the “best birthday ever.” Sources say that “money is not an object” for the party, which will include all of Swift’s “closest friends” in New York City.
And while we don’t know what’s on the menu (not yet, at least), Swift has made her food and favorite dishes popular recently. Diet Coke and vodka and cosmos are in Swift’s report. He was also seen sipping Casa Azul tequila sodas at a Chiefs game earlier this year, which Kelce himself is endorsing. And of course, it’s not Taylor’s birthday without chicken fingers and ketchup and looking like a ranch.
Although missing Time Person of the Year gala for the first party, Swift opened up about her relationship with Kelce in an interview with the magazine earlier this month.
“It all started when Travis put me on his podcast, which I thought was cool as hell,” he told the outlet, before adding that he and Kelce “started dating right away.”
“The truth is that we had an important moment that no one knew about, which I am grateful for, because we got to know each other,” he said. “I think some people think they saw our first date at that game? We can’t even think of forcing a first date.”
