Lawrence Sullivan – aka the Florida Joker – has increased his complaint about the GTA 6 trailer by threatening a lawsuit against the developer Rockstar Games unless it is paid.
GTA 6 takes place in the state of Leonida, Rockstar’s version of Florida, and after the release of the first record the fans noticed a lot. real life information. Among them was what appeared to be a reference to Sullivan, a tattoo pattern that gained a lot of attention online after it was done. His photo went viral in 2017. He earned the nickname Florida Joker because of his green hair and tattooed face.
The GTA 6 version, seen in a quick image of the news, is a little different – purple instead of green, some tattoos look different – but the similarities are definitely hard to ignore, Sullivan did not. He revealed the GTA 6 video in a TikTok posted last week, and now a follow-up has been issued demanding millions of dollars in damages.
IGN’s Twenty Questions – guess the game!
In his new story TikTok, Sullivan appears with purple-colored hair to ape the GTA 6 character more closely. “GTA, I present to you the most free market that you have found in the entire history of running this GTA game,” he said. “For that, I want an additional million dollars. It takes forever to answer me. GTA we need to talk.”
Then Sullivan said, growing excited: “Do you think I’m kidding? You have three days… three days before my lawyers go crazy on this case. I had strong evidence.” IGN has asked Rockstar to comment on Sullivan’s claims. In the past TikTok, Sullivan demanded $2 million from Rockstar Games over the character’s appearance in the trailer. “Florida Joker isn’t having that,” he said, “you took all my face, you took all my life.”
Despite Sullivan’s comments on TikTok, it doesn’t seem like much is coming from Rockstar Games. Perhaps the most famous, Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit in 2013 against Take-Two for what he said was the unauthorized use of his appearance for a minor in GTA 5. However, the suit. was eventually dismissed. For her part, Sullivan says her case is very different than Lohan’s.
One of the top suspects is Roger Clark, the voice behind the Red Dead Redemption 2 protagonist, Arthur Morgan. “They (Rockstar Games) won’t talk to you,” he said on the now-deleted TikTok (view PC Gamer).
“There have been people like you trying to sue them for years. They’re lawyers, man. They know exactly what they can and cannot get away with. If I were you, I would use the fame they threw your way to your success. Top it off in another way. You don’t get a job at Home Depot looking like that.”
Sullivan’s TikToks are just the latest development in what has become a whirlwind since the leagueand then officially open, the long-awaited GTA 6 trailer. It’s broken YouTube viewer statistics and inspires many interesting ideas while gamers eagerly await the game in 2025, although PC gamers will have to wait.
