When the year ends, many people take the time to reflect on the past 12 months of their lives, the decisions they made, and the places they went. In recent years, companies like Spotify have taken this tradition seriously, turning it into their celebration package, where users worldwide share their statistics, blurring the lines between the internet and a viral advertising campaign. It is not surprising if other companies want to jump on that wagon, and one of the main representatives is Sony, with their annual PlayStation Wrap-Up. You can check this year’s edition right here.
Those who participate will get a quick overview of their 2023 on PlayStation, including the number of hours played, their top games, and even the controller they use most often. You can see some of my stats below – including how much time I spent revisiting Ezio’s games for an Assassin’s Creed back at the beginning of this year.
PlayStation has a good 2023. Between Spider-Man 2 is a major success, the regular launch of Final Fantasy XVI as a special console, and new DLC paths are coming to The Last of Us : Part II and God of War: Ragnarök, the year has finished strong. It followed their recent release of the PlayStation Portal – you can read reviews on the device here.
