Politician Prashant Kishore (PK) has revealed the recent victory of the Congress in Telangana, expressing his belief that if Revanth Reddy had been announced as the chief minister before the elections, he would have the party achieves a clean sweep.
PK expressed the public’s confusion due to the lack of a clear prime minister before the election, with many leaders disputing this situation. He suggested that declaring Revanth Reddy as the first candidate would garner more support, possibly resulting in the Congress winning 100 seats instead of the current 64.
Discussing the political situation in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, PK said that people felt that Hindutva had been suppressed, and that the BJP had effectively re-directed the anti-Congress vote. PK criticized the BRS party and the Congress for the poor anti-government sentiment. He emphasized the lack of opposition in Madhya Pradesh, which causes constant monitoring by the central government and direct interference in the political activities of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Speaking of the upcoming general election, PK expressed concerns about INDIA’s alliance, suggesting that the seat dispute could affect the alliance. He criticized the plan of selecting only one candidate for the seat, saying that it is not possible and may cause the disintegration of the coalition. PK pushed for a revision of this strategy to expand the partnership’s opportunities moving forward.
