Masked thieves broke into Keanu Reeves’ Hollywood Hills home and made off with a gun, according to a report Friday.
The Los Angeles Police Department first responded to an anonymous call about a trespasser at the “Matrix” star’s home around 7 p.m. Wednesday, but no someone there, Law enforcement officials told TMZ.
Police returned about five hours later when the alarm started going off at 1 a.m. Thursday, the store said.
At this time, the police saw several men wearing skis on security cameras breaking a window and entering the star’s home, which is worth $7 million.
Police said the suspects took one gun from the house before fleeing, the report said.
Reeves was not home at the time, the report said.
Detectives are looking at video from the home and from neighbors’ security cameras.
They are looking specifically at the possibility that the first call on Wednesday night was made by someone who saw the house.
The Post Office has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department and Reeves’ representatives for comment.
This is not the first time that Reeves’ house has been broken into – in 2014, he faced two burglars.
A woman in her mid-40s entered the mansion while the “John Wick” star was sleeping and fell asleep in his library chair, TMZ reported at the time.
Reeves then woke up and spoke to the unidentified woman, who said she was there to meet him, and called 911.
Just one day later, another woman allegedly walked into his home through an unlocked door while he was not home.
She accused him of being unclothed, jumped into his shower and soaked his skin in his pool, before the cleaners called the police. according to TMZ.
Both women were arrested and given psychological evaluations.
Earlier this year, Reeves and his partner, Alexandra Grant, also obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who claims to be related to the actor.
Bryan Keith Dixon, 38, was reported to have committed crimes on the $5.6 million Hollywood Hills property of the actor six times between November 5 and January 20.
According to court documents seen by the outlet, Dixon tried to connect with the “John Wick” star all the time.
Reeves even had to hire a security team to investigate the alleged intruder, who had shared several posts on social media in which he called himself the blood of the actor.
In his social media posts, Dixon referred to himself as “Jasper Keith Reeves” and said he wanted the actor to “manage” him, per TMZ.
He also said he wants to give up his “personal rights” to the actor, the outlet added.
