ELON Musk shared an improvement to the X after many retailers, including Walmart, pulled their ads from social media – fans praised the new design.

X, formerly known as Twitter, has undergone some changes since Tesla CEO bought the website in October 2023 for $ 44 billion.

On Friday, he shared an update on the video embedding feature, which allows users to embed videos and broadcast players directly to their website or apps.

“Just copy and paste the URL, then go and get that installation,” read a tweet from the official Live account. “You are welcome.”

Musk retweeted and the explanation: “Improved video uploading.”

Users can easily embed a video or post with the provided HTML code by going to publish.x.com and use the URL from X.

Users praised the new change, with one person writing: “For the last 3 months, I have a problem with embedding videos in my posts, only I get links. I Hope this helps.”

“Tried it and it works,” wrote another user. “New colors and patterns are also good.”

“Thank you X team for working to make this a great place for everyone,” wrote a third person.

However, other users had complaints for the team such as adding more display options and improving the media.

“Please consider the issues I mentioned above, although it looks similar to Youtube, I think it’s because of your usage habits,” the person wrote. “(E) must learn from YouTube.”

The news comes as Walmart becomes the latest brand to pull ads from the platform.

Last week, the retailer announced that it would no longer advertise on X.

“We’re not advertising on X because we’ve found other platforms that better reach our customers,” said a Walmart spokesperson.

Since Musk’s tenure, there have been problems with advertising in retaining advertisers.

Apple, Disney, and Warner Bros. Discovery have also abandoned the platform.

Companies have raised concerns about the rise of antisemitic content on X.

In November, Musk appeared to agree with a post that said people in the Jewish community were promoting hatred of white people, which Musk called “the truth.”

He later apologized for responding to the antisemitic post at a New York Times DealBook event.

“I mean, look, sorry for that…post,” he said.

“It’s crazy to me, out of 30,000, it’s probably the worst and craziest thing I’ve ever done.

“And I tried my best to clarify six ways from Sunday, but you know the best thing I think is going to be clear, actually, it’s not a antisemitic, I am actually philosemitic.”

However, Musk did not hold back his feelings when discussing the advertisers leaving X.

“If someone is going to try to scare me with ads, scare me money, go f**k yourself. Go f**k yourself. Is that clear? I hope it’s right,” he said.
