A group of DHL Express workers on Thursday started a strike.
As part of the project, DHL Express saw more than 1,100 of its employees at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport stop work at that location. That airport serves as a hub for the package delivery company.

With the strike, the Teamsters said that DHL Express workers intended to “oppose unfair labor practices and demand that the company negotiate a fair contract.” The negotiations between the workers of the towing and the towing, seeking “improvement of wages and working conditions,” and the company first started during the summer, according to another announcement by the Teamsters.

The DHL workers have accused the company of “pushing (in) abusive demands that disrespect workers and have failed to address unfair labor practices including retaliating against supporting workers.” The National Labor Relations Board has received several complaints filed by the Teamsters against DHL, according to the union.
Thursday’s parade comes after the decision to join one that received approval from DHL unionized workers earlier in the week.

“DHL Express remains committed to working with the US Teamsters and agreeing to a contract for the group of CVG workers they represent,” the company said in a statement to FOX Business. “Although there is no agreed time for these contract negotiations, we are willing to work in good faith at the end of the month of December and have offered more days of negotiations in January to conclude this matter” .
The company said the “vast majority” of its CVG-based employees worked on Thursday. It also said that the Teamsters, who were accused of trying to “induce” and “force” the company into “unfair contract conditions” through the strike, have “extended their picket lines to other DHL Express locations in the United States” on Friday. , something he thought was possible.
