Of the Los Angeles Chargers (5-7) won last week by just 6 points, but they may need another offense in an AFC West matchup with the Denver Broncos (6-6).
The two teams meet for the first time this season in Week 14 at SoFi Stadium.
The Chargers beat the New England Patriots by two goals. Justin Herbert was 22-of-37 passing for 212 yards and Austin Ekeler was held to 18 rushing yards, his lowest total of the season. The defense sacked Bailey Zappe five times and forced a fumble.
The Broncos had their five-game winning streak snapped with a 22-17 loss at the hands of the Houston Texans. Russell Wilson threw three interceptions for the first time since last season’s Christmas game in Denver’s 51-14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. All-Pro defensive back Pat Surtain II dislocated his knee in the game.
The two teams split their matchup last year. In the season finale, the Broncos won 31-28 at home with Wilson throwing three touchdowns. Denver’s Jerry Jeudy had five receptions for 154 yards. Has yet to register 100 yards in a game this season.

Lorenzo Reyes: Broncos 19, Togi 17
I think the wrong team gets points here. The Chargers have no identity, are poorly coached, and always make mistakes. The Broncos had a five game winning streak snapped, but they made some unusual turnovers and I think they will correct that against LA, who are in the middle of the pack in terms of possession.
Tyler Dragon: Pay 23, Broncos 21
These two AFC West rivals are fighting for their playoff lives. Khalil Mack has an NFL-high 15 sacks. Keenan Allen is the sixth player in NFL history with five career seasons of 100 or more receptions. The Chargers need both seniors to play at a high level to keep the prospect alive.
Safid Deen: Broncos 24, Chargers 20
There is hope for another close game that doesn’t go the Chargers’ way. Denver gets a big win to boost their playoff hopes, as the Chargers start their hunt on Monday.
Victoria Hernandez: Broncos 23, Chargers 17
The Chargers scored 6 points last week. Their crime is less credible than the Grinch who stole Christmas. Russell Wilson and the Broncos got a bit of a wake-up call last week in a loss to a strong Houston team. Pat Surtain II’s health may be a factor here since the Broncos defense is without Kareem Jackson. Regardless, Russell Wilson showed his offense could go before Justin Herbert did.
Jordan Mendoza: Payouts 23, Broncos 21
Los Angeles probably had the most embarrassing win last week, but the offense needs to wake up in Denver. The Broncos fell short of their winning streak, and another setback is on the way.
