In an official statement issued on Saturday, the BSP said that its MP Danish Ali has been temporarily suspended for his involvement in opposition activities. The notice apparently given to Danish Ali read, “It was made clear to you earlier not to participate in anti-party activities… You were given the ticket from the party to on the declaration of Deve Gowda who assured that you will follow the party line. However, you seem to have forgotten the promises you made while attending the party. Therefore, you are being suspended.” The announcement did not mention any specific reason for the MP’s suspension.

After the unpleasant comments made by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri against Danish Ali in the Parliament, he participated in discussions with some prominent leaders of the Opposition.
