DALLAS – The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services believes the family of a girl who was abandoned at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas has been found Monday.

The girl, believed to be six years old, remains in protective custody, but officials said “we are exploring options for placing her with family members.”
