Named by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association The Situation Zone its nomination for best picture of the year.

The complaint association is named Anatomy of a Fall and The Situation Zone stars Sandra Hüller and Poor thing actress Emma Stone as the leading lady of the year. Rachel McAdams and Da’Vine Joy Randolph received best supporting actress awards ARE YOU there, God? I’m Margaret and The Stop, each.
Last year, the organization voted on two films for its top award of the year: Everything everywhere at once and Tár. The former won best picture at the 95th Academy Awards in March. This year’s winners will be celebrated at the organization’s annual banquet on January 13, 2024.
The association previously announced that Agnieszka Holland will be honored with this year’s personal and award ceremony. The Polish director and three-time Oscar nominee focuses on attacks by the Polish right-wing government for his film Green borderit describes the dangerous conditions faced by migrants trying to cross Poland from Belarus.
Before the LA Film Critics Awards this year, Martin Scorsese’s Kill the Flower Moon took home the award for best picture at the New York Film Critics Circle and the National Board of Review Awards.
Most years, the organization’s decision for the best picture results in an Oscar nomination for the highest award of the night. For the second year in a row, the LA Film Critics Association Awards will feature the most polarizing categories.

The organization was founded in 1975 and includes critics who work in Los Angeles in print and electronic media such as daily and weekly newspapers, magazines and online social media. The annual awards celebrate people in front of and behind the camera.
